In 1996, Tamara’s job as a Staff Gemologist at the Gemological Institute of America was about to end. While she was faced with what to do next, she remembered that she had always created things with her hands and loved to do so. With “necessity being the mother of invention” and the timing dealt her, she decided it was time to explore that passion. Tamara found new joy in designing paperweights, sculptures, and key chains; all with motivational quotes, inspirational quotes, and whimsical symbols that bring them to life.
