Return Policy & Procedure
Sometimes, as great as the design is or how unique and inspirational the story …. it just doesn’t work out for some reason. We understand, it happens and has happened to all of us. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a refund, exchange, or site credit as set forth within the guidelines set below.
1. All returned items must be in new, unused, and re-sealable condition. It must be RECEIVED by us within 30 days of the date of purchase.
2. Please send us an email ( connect@designandstory.com ) with your name, the order number, and the item name, and if needed …what item would you like to exchange it for. We can make sure we pull aside an item for you or get an order in to make sure we have more.
3. Please include the packing slip or a copy of your packing slip and fully complete the return/exchange form included with your order.
4. All CLEARANCE items are final sale and cannot be returned. No refunds or exchanges will be issued for any CLEARANCE items.
5. The shipping expenses incurred to receive an order are not refundable and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Any returns received by Design & Story after 30 days from the date of purchase cannot be accepted and will be automatically returned to the sender.
7. Items that are lost or damaged in transit that are being returned to Design & Story are the responsibility of the customer. A claim should then be filed with the shipping carrier that you chose. It is best to make sure you have a tracking number when sending returns.

Sometimes we need a little extra time to process shipments, so please allow up to 7 days for your return to be processed. Remember that credit card statements are cyclical, a credit to your account may not appear in the same month you shipped an item. Please be sure to check two billing cycles to ensure proper credit has been received. If you ever have a question or concern about a returned item, please email us at connect@designandstory.com.
